Your booking will be confirmed when you accept these Terms and Conditions and pay the full amount of the accommodation charges and taxes plus the security deposit.
PAYING FOR YOUR BOOKING:
Your booking can be paid for online with a Debit/Credit Card.
We will hold the Security Deposit to be applied against the reasonable cleaning and/or replacement of the property, furnishings, fixtures and fittings.
The Security Deposit is fully refundable and will be returned to you within fourteen (14) days of your check-out, as long as the following provisions are met:
No damage is done to the property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. Furniture is not stained or torn, art and objets d’art are not damaged. No robes, towels or linens are lost or damaged
No contents are removed from the Property.
No smoking is undertaken inside the house. In the event the house suffers from cigarette or cigar odors, the security deposit will be forfeited.
All rubbish is placed in the designated bins outside and dirty dishes are cleaned.
All doors and windows of the Property are left locked unless otherwise instructed.
There is no damage to any part of the property due to negligence of the guest to properly lock and secure windows and doors or turn off appliances.
If the apartment requires extra cleaning in addition to the normal time allowed we will take a charge off the deposit to cover this.
CANCELLATION:
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking, provided you cancel at least 28 days before check-in, you will get back 100% of the amount that you’ve paid.
If you cancel between 14 and 28 days before check-in, you’ll get back 50%.
Any cancellation must be made by 11.59pm on the relevant cut-off day before check in to receive the refund. All times are specific to the property’s time zone.
If you had booked using the non-refundable rate there is no refund at any time after the booking is confirmed.
IF WE CANCEL OR AMEND YOUR BOOKING:
We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations or very occasionally, cancel bookings.
We may at any time, without notifying you, make any changes to the provision of the Property which are necessary to comply with any applicable safety or legal requirements, or which do not materially affect the
nature or quality of accommodation provided.
In such an exceptional circumstance, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund
any money you have paid us.
We always recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance.
CLEANING FEE:
We charge a £15 cleaning fee per stay.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
We require a £120 security deposit. This will be returned to you within 14 days of your departure, less the cost of any damage or breakages which may occur during your stay. We also reserve the right to deduct extra cleaning charges should the property not be left in a clean and tidy state on departure.
CHECK IN/OUT:
Check in is after 16.00
Check out is by 11.00
We may occasionally be able to be flexible on this if we have no other guests booked in immediately prior or after – please ask.
The instructions for collecting the keys will be sent to the booker’s email 24-48 hours at the latest before commencement of the letting.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
We can only accept a maximum of two/four guests (depending upon apartment booked) per booking. Extra visitors are not permitted to stay overnight.
Our One Bedroom Apartment will be made up as a SuperKing bed. Please advise at time of booking if you wish to have Twin beds.
Our Two Bedroom Apartment has one SuperKing bed and the other room will be made up as Twin beds. The second bedroom can be a SuperKing if advised at time of booking.
For both apartments bed choices cannot be guaranteed if requested less than 5 days before arrival.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets.
Children are welcome if they bring well-behaved parents with them!
Minimum age of primary renter is 21 yrs.
One allocated parking space is available.
The property is professionally cleaned and inspected after each rental to ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay.
The property will be stocked with a limited number of supplies including; coffee, tea, sugar, a kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, rubbish bags, laundry detergent, sponge and dishtowel. Further supplies and groceries are your responsibility.
Access is granted via a key safe for which you will need a code. We will send you the access code (which will be unique to you) prior to arrival.
No parties or events.
No smoking.
YOUR OBLIGATIONS:
You agree to comply with these Rental Rules and any other regulations reasonably made from time to time and ensure that they are observed by all members of your party.
You agree to keep and leave the Property and the furnishings, kitchen equipment, home electrical and audio-visual equipment, crockery, glasses, bedding and towels clean and in good condition. You agree neither to cause any damage to the walls, doors or windows of the Property nor to do anything that may be reasonably considered to cause a nuisance or annoyance to the neighbouring properties.
You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property including your vehicle. No liability to you is accepted in respect of damage to or loss of such property.
You cannot allow more people to stay in the Property than expressly authorised, nor can you significantly change the makeup of the party during your stay in the Property.
You agree to allow us or any representatives of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK:
The owners of Calvert Court and any of their employees are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. They are not responsible for vehicles, loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
